Global companies such as Mercedes-Benz, the Lufthansa Group, and the OTTO Group rely on Marmind to consolidate marketing campaigns, budgets, and teams on a single platform and to manage their marketing securely and efficiently.

Marmind processes an average of 246 invoices per month. Its previous system was not fully digitized and was no longer suitable for the company’s growing size. The need for a unified tool for approval processes arose—above all, one that integrates all locations and works without any delays.

Before finway was implemented at Marmind, maintaining transparency across three locations was a real challenge: keeping track of the various payments and accounts and managing approval processes clearly and reliably.
The biggest advantage, however, is the central consolidation of all financial processes.
Who at Marmind uses finway?
All departments use finway—at least on an ad hoc basis, particularly for reimbursements and the corporate card feature. The power users are primarily Accounting and Finance, but project managers and executive management also work extensively with finway.

Mirko, how would you sum up finway in one word?
“If we were suddenly unable to use finway overnight, we would face a huge challenge. That would be a major adjustment for the entire team and, above all, a significant challenge for the accounting team.”
The use of finway is currently being expanded within Marmind. The latest update to the subscription management system means that finway can now be utilized even more extensively. In addition, the finway order module is set to be used much more extensively.
P2P (Purchase-to-Pay) is the latest addition to finway.
Marmind is already using this feature, but plans to expand its use in the future. Because it’s not used very often, the time savings are still modest—about 30 minutes per month, according to Mirko.
Mirko hopes that using P2P will save even more time by reducing manual steps and lead to better traceability of the individual order and delivery steps.
This applies especially to companies that still use outdated systems and those above a certain size—in our case, that would primarily include any company with more than 100 incoming invoices per month.
