Finally, we have successfully closed our Series A funding round and raised $10 million. In March, we successfully close a seed financing round with 2.1 million euros. New investors are btov Partners, Andrej Henkler and other business angels. Our previous investors around Felix Haas and the 10x Group are also involved.
We covered other necessary functionalities such as payment options, the reading of invoices and budgeting and thus had a solution with which we were able to impress our first customers. In addition, Christian Weisbrodt, the fourth member of the management team, comes on board. He joins finway from the “Unicorn” Personio and, as Chief Revenue Officer, will be responsible for marketing, sales and customer success.
In June 2020, we are ready to launch finway as a company. The initial idea has turned into a first usable version of our financial operating system and we are preparing the market entry. Through participation in accelerator programs and association memberships such as START Munich, we have already built a large network of experts, business angels, and experienced investors. Among them Felix Haas and his 10x Group, who have supported us from the beginning.
